Bella Vista Motel Palmerston North

I rarely give a 10, but because of the considerate management, this motel deserves nothing less. I was travelling with my mum, who's elderly and doesn't handle stairs well, so when I booked, I left a note requesting a room with separate beds and no stairs. All the twin rooms are apparently on the first floor, so the manager kindly put us in a ground floor suite. It even had a spa! It made for a wonderful stay for both mum and me, and everything about this motel was what we hoped for.

The service at the Bella Vista was amazing. The room was small (as it was only for me for 1 night) but it totally met all my expectations, it was super clean and the bathroom was huge! The water pressure in the shower was so good! The owner was very helpful, friendly and even offered to carry my bags! The location is central Palmerston North (I did get a taxi into town) I was really happy and most impressed - and I also lucked in with a great discounted price.

Was just a one night stay but very comfortable and clean and plenty of parking. Fan was appreciated and quiet to sleep with on.

Staff friendly and welcoming at check in. Room was warm & cosy, spotlessly clean. The heart pump was a bonus on a cold night. Bed ok, not all that comfortable, but overall is a great motel, and just a short walk to The Square.

It was an upper room and I like upper rooms. I used to come to Palmerston North several years ago and used to stay at the Bella Vista. So it was a time of reminiscing. It was a wonderful flashback.
